Creatives without Borders | Innovation without Limits

EIT Culture & Creativity is the ninth Innovation Community by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
It is designed to strengthen and transform Europe’s Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI) by increasing it‘s innovation capacity and competitiveness. EIT Culture & Creativity will unlock latent value from a multitude of small CCSI stakeholders through technology transfer, improved cross-sectoral collaboration and their effective integration in production value networks. It takes a holistic approach to innovation:

• Technology & Business innovation
• Artistic Innovation
• Social Innovation

EIT Culture & Creativity will run 10 Action Programmes (APs) serving 5 Strategic Objectives (SOs):
• SO1 Education: AP1 Talent Scaler and AP2 Skills Fitter
• SO2 Innovation: AP3 Breakthrough Lab and AP4 Triple Transformer
• SO3 Creation: AP5 Venture Factory and AP6 Market Connector
• SO4 Society: AP7 Value Impacter AP8 Community Catalyser
• SO5 Systems: AP9 Knowledge Tank and AP10 Policy Optimiser

Public Art Lab and its worldwide Connecting Cities consortium is founding member of the EIT Culture & Creativity.

The consortium is consisting of the research partners:

Soenke Zehle / K8 directs the AP6 Market Connector. K8 will be responsible for the baseline study and the mapping of the Market Connectors’ blueprint scenarios together with PAL and the consortium.
