We invite artists to enhance cultural heritage—traditions, rituals, performing arts, craftsmanship, and knowledge about nature and the universe—by creating narratives and scenarios that transform public screens into living archives. Memory Coexistence, this year’s CDSA curatorial theme, focuses on digital heritage by exploring how memories can be preserved and reimagined through technology and creativity—fusing past, present, and future into evolving artworks. LED screens become immense canvases of public art and digital landmarks that reflect individual memories and collective narratives, celebrating the emotional bonds between people and their urban spaces.

CDSA Festival and Competition is initiated by Prof. Yuelai Ruan, School of Sculpture and Public Art of China Academy of Art – co-curated by Prof. Ina Conradi, School of Art, Design and Media, NTU Singapore, Dominique Moulon, Maria Grazia Mattei, MEET Digital Culture Center, Milan and Susa Pop, Public Art Lab Berlin and Connecting Cities Network.
