Light Art Mentor Workshop

The Light Art Mentor Workshop is a collaborative platform for light artists, combining cultural insight, technical innovation, and public engagement. This three-day intensive workshop addresses to emerging light artists and brings them together with professional artists, technologists, and cultural organizations to explore the transformative potential of light as an artistic medium, highlighted by a a public showcase as part of the Vorspiel Festival. Participating artists will present their work, exchange ideas, and work with renowned light art partners to co-create an installation in Berlin.

- exposure through major light art festivals and exhibitions across Europe
- selected artists’s light artworks will circulate to Hungary, Germany, Slovakia and Finland, reimagining forgotten spaces through the power of light
Following the workshop, selected artists will have the opportunity to develop and produce their own light artworks between May and August 2025. This selected group of artists will then have the chance to exhibit their creations at partner locations as part of international festivals and exhibitions, showcasing their work in unique cultural contexts alongside other prominent light art installations.
