For the third time, the Media Wall of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg presents video artworks from the CITY DIGITAL SKIN ART (CDSA) competition.
From microscopic ocean life and mysterious deep-sea creatures to marine organisms merging with plastic waste, 13 video artworks reveal the ocean as a living ecosystem and a shared world we must protect.

Video artworks by: Tan Yu Yan Cheerie, Dai Yanliang, Gao Fansong, Sun Ynzheng, Zhou Yufan, Jiin Ko, HU Icey, Layla Jordan, Filip Sari, Robert Seidel, Nacoca Ko, Telle, Dachi Giorgi Garuchava, Leah Chakola and Ying Xiaoliang.
Connecting Classes were held at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), at the Design Research Lab of Prof. Dr. Gesche Joost , together with Michaela Vieser (CDSA Best Instructor Award), Susa Pop and Ayça Tugran.
CDSA was initiated by Yuelai Ruan (China Academy of Art) and is co-curated with Susa Pop (Public Art Lab), Maria Grazia Mattei (MEET Digital Culture Center), Ina Conradi-Chavez (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) and Dominique Moulon.
