A Journey with Cultural Radiance

The Cultural Radiance programme began in January in Berlin with the Light Art Workshop, where international artists explored the transformative power of light in abandoned spaces. The ideas, perspectives, and creative energy shared during this workshop contributed meaningfully to the development of the programme.

From August to October, these ideas took shape in the exhibitions in Várpalota (INOTA), Berlin, Bratislava and Jonesuu featuring artists selected via the open call, each adding new layers and perspectives.

As the journey moves forward, we look at how the installations have transformed their environments—turning them into illuminated spaces where communities can reconnect with their heritage while encountering new artistic expressions.

Cultural Radiance is initiated by the Budapest-based platform COLLOC in cooperation with Public Art Lab (Berlin), the Sérum Festival (Bratislava), and Valoparta Oy (Finland). The project is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
