An Introduction was given by the two curators of Connected Cultures: Marilia Pasculli from Verve Cultural Sao Paulo and Susa Pop from\u00a0Public Art Lab Berlin.<br \/>\n<strong>Pictures of the opening on flickr<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>16 May \u2013 Connected Cultures Workshop: Looking Behind the Facade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With presentations by the curators and by the four artist groups of the Connected Cultures Programme:\u00a0Super Uber\u00a0(BR),\u00a0Rachel Rosalen(BR),\u00a0Pfadfinderei\u00a0+\u00a0The Constitute\u00a0(DE) and\u00a0Mader Stublic Wiermann\u00a0(DE).<br \/>\n<strong>Pictures of the workshop on flickr<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the media facade\u2019s opening in November 2012, Marilia Pasculli who initiated the Galeria de Arte Digital SESI-SP together with Jo\u00e3o Frugiuele, had already invited Susa Pop to present a data visualisation programme for their\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/spurban.com.br\/\">SP_Urban Digital Festival<\/a>, with \u2018City Sleep Light\u2019 by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.antoineschmitt.com\/\">Antoine Schmitt<\/a>\u00a0and \u2018Rhythm of Sao Paulo\u2019 by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcanet.info\/blog\/\">Mar Canet<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.varvarag.info\/\">Varvara Guljajeva<\/a>.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicartlab-berlin.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/msw_teaser_small.jpg\">https:\/\/www.publicartlab-berlin.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/msw_teaser_small.jpg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For the Germany + Brazil 2013-14 programme, the curators will present the German artist groups\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pfadfinderei.com\/\">Pfadfinderei<\/a>\u00a0+\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/theconstitute.org\/\">The Constitute<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.webblick.de\/\">Mader Stublic Wiermann<\/a>\u00a0as well as the two Brazilian artists\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.superuber.com\/\">Super Uber<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rachelrosalen.com.br\/\">Rachel Rosalen<\/a>\u00a0to open the media facade as a living sculputure for intercultural encounter and dialogue.<\/p>\n<p>Picture: \u2018all ready made\u2019 by Mader Stublic Wiermann.
