Unterwasserlicht by Hans J. Wiegner
In the summer of 2000, 100 light blocks were installed in the 426 meter long Elbtunnel in St.Pauli, Hamburg. The colors of the light blocks move from bright yellow, aqua and deep blue ranging in deeper and deeper layers of the space to violet and purple. Through the colour combinations of the light, this site-specific installation gave the impression of an illuminated dive into the depths.
